Contents of workshop

Would you like to know more about Zero Trust security and architecture? Would you like to combine theory with hands-on technical work? Than this is the right workshop for you.

During this technical hands-on workshop you get to work on micro-segmentation using VMware NSX andsecure applications and traffic with Panorama from Palo Alto Networks.

You will be working on your own laptop putting theory into practice within a virtual LAB environment. After completing the workshop you will be able to start working on building your own Zero Trust network.

During this workshop, the following subjects will be among those that will be discussed:

  • Basic explanation of the theory: Zero Trust, Palo Alto Networks and VMware NSX

  • Explanation of LAB data center

  • Creation of a firewall policy in Palo Alto Networks Panorama in accordance with Zero Trust

  • Execution of attacks in the segmented LAB data center

  • Observation that lateral movement takes place and is taken up in the Security Automation & Orchestration Platform designed by ON2IT

  • Demo of Security Automation & Orchestration Platform and the rules of engagement

Participation is free of charge. Please note: for this session you will need to bring your own laptop.

In preparation of the workshop we ask you to follow the 1903-01 VMware NSX lab.
