What you’ll do
Six teams. One incident. Yours to run.
SOC, Development, CISO Team, PSS Consulting: this is where you’d actually stand when the sirens go off. Marketing and Sales are in the room too, because the incident doesn’t stop at IT. Find the room that’s yours.
“Anyone can generate copy now. So what am I worth?”
A leak site is bragging. A journalist wants a yes-or-no on the hospitals. Claude hands you a clean, reassuring statement, and you have to decide whether you can actually stand behind a word of it.
“AI writes every sequence. What do I still add?”
The client’s CISO is panicking, threatening to go public, demanding you promise it’s fixed by tonight. ChatGPT gives you the brief. You give them the truth they can act on, without a promise you can’t keep.
“AI sees every risk. Where’s my edge now?”
Two containment options on the table, a deadline closing in, and a board asking what happens if you’re wrong. The fast, textbook fix might just cut power to a hospital. You make the call and defend it in ninety seconds.
“The tools already filter. So what do I do?”
Hundreds of alerts. The AI hands you a confident one-line summary of what’s happening. The timestamps don’t quite agree with it. Do you trust the tool, or the evidence?
“AI structures and plans. What’s left for me?”
A panicked client, a half-written brief, and someone interrupting for answers you don’t have yet. ChatGPT gives you a tidy summary. You find the one question underneath it that the whole decision turns on.

What should I bring?
Bring a laptop. No portfolio, no preparation needed, the afternoon is about how you think, not what you brought.

What happens after the event?
The scenario closes at 19:00 with a group debrief and a food truck. There’s no waiting for a callback, you’ll know. First offers go out within the month, and hiring continues after that.
