Plano, Texas and Waardenburg, The Netherlands – 27 February 2019 – ON2IT, a global pure-play cybersecurity service provider, today announces that it will host managed services for Palo Alto Networks Cortex, the industry’s only open and integrated AI-based continuous security platform, starting with Cortex XDR, the first-of-its-kind detection, investigation and response product that natively integrates network, endpoint and cloud data to stop sophisticated attacks.
Security breaches are a fact of life and prevention efforts never offer a 100% guarantee. Many organizations still focus primarily on prevention, and are unable to quickly find out what exactly happened when a breach occurred, which data was impacted and how the attack was stopped. Too often there is insufficient logging, which makes it difficult to identify the root cause. At the same time, it’s crucial for organizations to respond fast when a breach happens.
ON2IT has now integrated Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR into their Zero Trust SOC app on Cortex. With this solution they can manage an organization’s datacenter, networks, endpoints and cloud, and detect and investigate threats. Plus, they can give recommendations to resolve incidents and harden the infrastructure. With the ON2IT Zero Trust SOC, organizations can use the ON2IT Security Automation & Orchestration Platform to integrate the in-house or cloud platforms and have a transparent communication workflow with the ON2IT analysts, engineers, data scientists, and sector specialists.
“Cortex XDR is a game changer as it enables ON2IT security specialists to quickly find root cause and provide complete and accurate information, by integrating data across the Network, Cloud and Endpoint,” says Marcel van Eemeren, CEO, ON2IT Group. “By offering comprehensive managed services there is a considerable cost advantage for the client who only pays a fixed monthly fee and doesn’t need to invest in in-house security staff.”
“Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR, in combination with managed security services from partners, like ON2IT, delivers round-the-clock monitoring, analysis and coordinated response across network, endpoint and cloud environments to secure our customers most critical assets,” said Karl Soderlund, SVP, Worldwide Channel Sales. “Our collaboration will provide more holistic security outcomes delivered through an even simpler managed model.”
